Hyper White H4 Bulbs

I have tried using Eurolites and Hiper Ind H4 headlight bulbs for our civics. They ususally last me about 4-5 months before one blows out on me. Is this normal, Im using the 55W versions, not high wattage. What brand should i get, what else can i try. I'm about to go back to OEM bulbs.

I only get about 4-6months of life out of these bulbs which is the norn. If you want bulbs that don't burn out get the Full HID system, that'll set you back at least $400 but will last for years

I have PIAA Super Plasma in my projectors. I am hoping I get a good life out of them but if not they will be returned for new, however some people have said that the one year guarentee is no longer valid. Dont know but there the only bulb I am satiafied with and have tried several.....Good Luck

yes, a set of hid will last usually "longer than the life of your car" even a new bulb is only around 150 dollars or so, but you won't have to worry about swapping ur bulbs every 5-6 months, or worry about amount of light you cna see. i highly recommend hid instead of wannabes

I'm not an expert but just a reminder that you can't touch the bulb of a halogen light.
The oils on your fingers react poorly with the high temp.
Just wanted to mention that, it could be the reason for short life span of the aftermarket bulbs.

I have Polarg VIP Style H4's

Similar to the PIAA Super Plasmas.. but brighter white and they don't have that yellow line of light like the PIAA

Yellow line is good. More realistic to HID.

(For those who care about wanting to look like HID)

Just askin.... how is having a yellow line of light more like real HID????

All the HID's I've seen don't have any yellow in the beam pattern
