does anybody have a universal muffler or apex n1 in their car? i might back out on a dc tcs because it's too much money and i figured i could use that money on a universal muffler and custom pipping and something else. but i don't want anything too loud to attract the cops, if you know what i mean. i know that dc tcs is street legal, but is there anything else legal. any suggestions? thanks

Magnaflows are pretty quiet. The sound also depends on what size piping. Normally the longer the muffler the quieter it is..

how much does the magnaflow cost? what other universal mufflers are people familiar with that are not too loud? thanks for your reply teknic

they usaully range from $90-$145. you just have to shop around to find a great price.

Yeah Magnaflow is a really good buy. Too bad I didn't wait. If anything you can always tell them to put a resonator back on if its too loud.

im ganna be buying the magnaflow muffler (ones that come with the cat-back) soon. then im ganna have the local muffler shop here weld it on. but i dont think im ganna get custom piping though. not sure yet. but if i do, i'll get the pipes back to the cat.
