NEED LOWER GRILL - NOT MESH

I'm looking for a lower grill for my 2K1 Civic. I have the Grillcraft, but it won't fit into the opening now since I have the OEM body kit.

I'd rather have something like one or two horizonal bars that go across between the blackout panels. Maybe round or oval shaped bars, in black. Anyone seen or made anything similar to this?

Thanks for any input.

What do you mean it won't fit because you have the OEM kit?

I was looking at that grill myself. I like it, but would rather have stainless than powder-coated steel ...

Anyone know of a grill that looks the same but is pure stainless?

The outside of the grill is solid or tubing. With the OEM front lip, there isn't enfugh room to fit the grill in the openint. That's because the OEM lip over laps into the opening, especially at the ends.

The grill I have is black.

Well an easy way to solve that would be to take the OEM front lips from the body kit, then put on the GrillCraft grill and then the OEM kit. It would look tight like that I think, IMO. Anything is possible.

Yeah... cant you just put the grill in before the lip?? That would look tight and you wouldn't have to worry about it comming loose or someone ripping it off!

Not sure about that. The grill may not let the lip go all the way on. May have to shave something. I'll have a look. Thanks
