and they quoted me a bill for 390.00 to have it replaced..im trying to find a pl-
ace thatll do it for less..are these parts REALLY that expensive?i think not but i
could be wrong.my plan is to buy it at a store at a big price reduction and have
it installed at a shop.thanks

Re: po135

well that is a oxygen sensor heater malfunction bank 1 so it needs to be replaced and depending on what year your car is will determine the cost of the sensor 04-05 civics are very expensive anywhere from 150-230 dollars depending on the brand you get but the older model are usually cheaper then 100 dollars. as for the labor cost you can easily replace it yourself with a plug and play sensor it just screws rite in. the bottom line is you can save yourself alot on money buying the part online and installing it yourself.

Re: po135

yea.. replace it yourself. Save yourself some money by buying the sensor @ hondapartscheap.com or hondaautomotiveparts.com and swapping it yourself.

Just make sure you let your exhaust system cool properly before trying, otherwise you'll prolly burn the **** out of yourself and you'll have a hell of a time taking the sensor out
