exhaust and lowering kit

i need to replace my full exhaust on my '00 civic si because i'm told it has several holes in it and it cant be welded because it is all custom. if i want to completely replace what i have on it now the dealership said it would run about $2,600 bucks , then again it is a dealership ha. what brand exhaust should i go with? i also need to replace my shocks and struts and was wondering what lowering kit would be best because the last thing i want to do is go back to stock.

Re: exhaust and lowering kit

a full exhaust shouldnt cost any where near $2600. you can get a brand new aftermarket one for less than $400. and if you want a stock exhaust system, just go to the junkyard and grab one.

Re: exhaust and lowering kit

Let me guess... they told you your struts were leaking, and could blow any moment?

..they told me that over a year ago, and I had pushed the car pretty hard in the time being, and they are all perfectly fine. I swaped them or a set of megans last month though.

Get your car up on jacks and take a look at your exhaust. The piping might be done for, but I'd be a little suprised if your muffler was toast. To each their own though. Heads up though, dont listen to the dealership. They wanted a grand for their mudwater stocker suspension.
