Need a quick answer on CAI

Need a quick answer on CAI
OK i have an INJEN CAI and i put it in a few weeks ago and everyone on here said that you have to let the car idle for a few minutes then drive it some and that will reset the computer. Being that the battery was disconnected for the instal. Well i was just doin some work and i had to disconnect the battery. Do i have to do this process all over again or does the computer default back to its last setting or what? My car is idling in the driveway now....
