Rep Power: 0 Dash Piece Dye.....*Help Please*
I'm looking for some interior dye so I don't have to worry about chipping on dash pieces that are painted...how does do dyed pieces look? I mean if I dye a black piece white, will some of the black still show up from underneath, or will I have to like drench it in dye?
Tell me if this is what I need...http://www.autostyles.com/sem.htm
Does anyone know of anywhere else that is selling the dye stuff in a spray can form for cheaper? Thanks!

Rep Power: 0 Gotcha, but wouldn't you need some kind of SPECIAL primer if you're going to dye the pieces? I mean dye doesn't work like paint...the dye actually seeps into the plastic as to where paint just lies on top of the plastic....

Rep Power: 0 Yeh you can spraypaint your dash fine....what what about the pillars, and the center console that goes around the ebrake and stuff? You wouldn't want to paint that cause it would come off too easily...
