Rep Power: 0 fiberglass does blow but its the easiest to make fit your car and funny enough its technically the strongest. poly ur ktis are good cause they are impact resistant but they are a b*tch to paint and they never fit right you you have to cut and remold them to get then to fit. and carbon fiber is good and bad. its a status symbol just like the hoods but you can't paint them worth crap and it looks like crap if things don't match your color if your car. and one rock and say good bye cause the shiznit chips extremly easy.

Rep Power: 0 yeah that is true , fiberglass kits are much easier for the body shops to work with , just make sure you get handlaid fiberglass kits not injected , cause injected kits are cheaper than handlaid but they arent the same thickness everywhere so they have more week points!
but better yet why not get that OEM CarbonFiber front lip !

Rep Power: 0 fiberglass isn't a bad thing to have.... it's still very strong.... people that can't drive are usually the ones that end up cracking it.... poly-u is not that much better...when you run into something, paint in the damaged area tends to chip and flake off.... fiberglass and poly-u are both great materials.... end of story... case closed.... lock the thread...

Rep Power: 0 as for the octane kit, well, there are 2 problems. first of all,ViS(the manufacturer), uses freight shipping. so tehy won't be able to get the truck in a private residence, unless its a big neighborhood. i had to wait for almost 2 weeks when my kit was sitting in the freighter's warehouse. you have to wait until they are in your area. and secondly, the sideskirts for the kit i ordered (the 2dr coupe) wouldn't fit without a pricey body shop bill. they would have to cut the body work and mold the kit into it. then if something should ever happen to it, the process would have to be done in reverse to remove it, resulting in yet another body shop bill. my advice is to order the front and rear bumper covers and use another company's sideskirts. but, i did manage to get the grill inserts thrown in for free, and the kit does look sweet on my black ex coupe.

Rep Power: 0 To answer the guys question about the black widow kit. It is fiberglass. I am going with the T2001 front bumper when on the street and buddy club kit for shows. Gonna cost but rather be safe. Figure the sides and back bumper will not be messed up as quick as the front the way I drive. So i fugure I will use the T2001 front when driving day after day and for shows put on the buddy club since I like the look better.

Rep Power: 0 wd40, fiberglass hoods are not as bad as bodykits because they are not as close to the ground
i say go with carbon fiber for a hood tho!
