prolly goes in the console, above the gas pedal...mine fell out so many times, I've tossed it out.

it holds the side of the center console in place

whichever side you found it on, check up towards the front of the foot well (the area that your feet go) along the center console panel. there should be a hole that goes through the side and a bracket.

to put the clip back in, you need to 'reset' the clip, by pushing the center portion in, then spreading the two long stems, and sliding it back through the outer section. from there, you should be able to figure it out...

I located the two places on the center console, near your knee, that also use this clip. However, mine were both already present. So this clip came from somewhere else. The mystery deepens...

Look on the sides of the console, at the very front of it, under the dash. I believe there is one on both sides. It would be down near your foot when you're sitting in the car.
