Need a Shift Boot
Need a Shift Boot
Where can I get a regular black leather(doesn't matter if it's fake leather) shift boot for a 2001 Honda Civic?
I bought one off of Ebay when they said it was for a Honda Civic, but the bottom where it attaches wasn't the same as the original I took off, so now I have none there....
Thanks for the help in advance!

I bought my shift boot from them. the 04+ template fits 01-03 exactly the same (I have an 02). I had them trim off an inch for my short shifter. I really like the boot, really easy to install

The shift boot is a full replacement for the cheap black vinyl boot and also has an excellent fit. The only pain was figuring out how to get the plastic panel out without breaking it but that was figured out with some trial and error. It incorporates the stock silver trim ring on the top and bottom though the bottom one is neccessary for the fitment. I don't use the top silver collar for my aftermarket shift **** as it is unnecessary. it looks like an OEM job in the end. a very clean, worthwhile investment for your interior. They make matching driving gloves as well. Might order some of those soon too. Aluminum Shift **** + Summer Heat = nearly burnt right hand.
[QUOTE=Swoosh76]Thanks man..I ordered one from there and it took a little over a week to get it. It does fit, but I am having problem getting it to fit the **** I have....ahh well, atleast it fits on the bottom part.
Yeah, like I said I don't have the top collar on but I'm also not using the stock shift **** which has those two tabs for the connection. I have the top of the boot folded inwards right up until the hole for the szip tie that's supposed to hold that collar in place. The leather is sturdy enough to keep it in place without messing with it (i.e. putting a big spring in there to hold it in place like i've read on some previous post).
