header leak

Hi!

I just installed the top portion ss obx header on my ex sedan. Although everything went well as soon as I started the car it sounded like I took of my exhaust, all noise from the front. I tried reinstalling and tightening everything but my car still sounds just as noisy. How do I trace the leak and what can I do about it? Please help!!!

did you install a gasket between the header and cylinder head and between the exhaust pipe and header?

I installed one gasket between the header and cylinder head and none between the exhaust pipe and header. Factory didn't come with one though I'm going to buy gasket sealant tomorrow

Thanks Streetglower! You were right, I looked at it again and I did not use the other gasket. Everything is great now! Thanks again.

Oops, I said it wrong. I meant I saw the other gasket only after you mentioned it and I used it. Thanks again!
