NEX coilovers or airbags?
I was thinking about getting the NEX coilover kits, but for another $1k I can get airbags installed. What do you guys think, should I save up and get the bags?
Also, does anyone know how muchn a speed shop would charge if I took thema turbo and intercooler and asked them to pipe it for me and install a boost controller and blow-off valve and stuff.

I was thinking since I already have to save up the $1k, why not save another and get something that's gonna drop everyone's jaw. Besides that, while I am driving regular I can have it at a comfortable height or have it slammed for cruising.

Exactamundo. That's what I plan on doing. Remember, airbags over shocks are the best way to go. No cutting, welding, and other BS required. I'm going to DIY the whole thing. First I'll save up for other things though. I have an idea for an OEM-like switch for up and down. I don't want anything but up and down. I don't need to control the individual air bags. Some nice adjustable shocks and airbags with the whole in the middle, the compressor, a tank, and a couple of valves with seleniods on them. All you need really. Maybe a guage for air pressure on the whole setup as well.

Um... You're wrong. The kind that I mentioned is like installing a set of coilovers and shocks. The airbags have holes in the middle for the shock to go through. You won't lose any handling characteristics if you know what you're doing. The ride height should be adjusted so that there is a certain pressure in the airbags. At a certain pressure, the air bags have a certain spring rate. If I make it so that the pressure is equal to the spring rate of the stock springs and I have a set of aftermarket shocks in there, then the ride will be the same and might actually be tuned a little better than stock. Not being able to drive in the cold and in winter is a myth too. Big rigs have these kinds of setups. They have no problems in the cold and in winter.
ok first of all airbags suck bad never let them anywhere near u or u will be stupider every second after...go wit da nex setup! w/o a doubt
