Cold Ait Intake

hey i have an 01 ex and i want a cold air intake. i have a buddy selling a cold air from his civic its a 6th gen, is it possible to get a cai from older civics to fit with some work? cause the price is right.

it can work but by the time and money you put into it making it fit, you could've bought 2 intakes specifically for your application.

the filter could be useful though.
btw, i recommend searching intakes on this board since there known to give minimal to no performance.
