Difference between alarms

I've been searching the net for the difference between the Compustar 2w900fmas and 2w8000fmas alarm/starter combos but can't really find anything. Can anyone help me out?

Hi,

The 2W900FMAS is on a 900MHZ bandwith and the 2W8000FMAS is on a 433MHZ bandwith. The 2W8000FMAS is the same as the 2WFMAS ( blue Remote older version ) but it now Vibrates. Go with the 2WFMAS or 2W8000FMAS they are your best bet for better range.

Thanks

Hmmm..., interesting info.

Now would you happen to know what is a 2W8000FMR? It seem to have remote starter and alarm and the remote is blue (the remote say 2nd Auto and has "2W8000FMR (3000)" on the bottom.

Is this also the same as the 2WFMAS?

I couldn't find that model locally, but I got the 2W8000FMR installed. So far working OK.
