I could go on an on. I do not want the same reply "just take out the 2 screws and pull off the shifter" I would like to see the actual DIY!

I am sure I am not the only one

can you find a DIY for this mod

You're lucky- http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=155280

Back when I did it, there wasn't a real diy written up for it. Most people who needed to take out their center console (for any reason) followed the first few steps to the diy for headunit removal.

The only difference in a 2003 console (EX) is that armrest. Inside it there is a screw or two, and the rest goes as planned. There is also an upside-down U shaped plastic piece that connects the lower dash board (cigarette lighter panel) to the center console (the side of the cupholders. That is just clipped on, but be careful when pulling it off. It's a hard thin piece of plastic and may break/turn white from stress

basic breakdown of 03 center console. #38 is the screw inside the armrest

#48 is that piece I was talking about (ignore the red circle)

ok ya both of these are not the DIY that so many people said there is! I am smart enough to do this but I would like to see the actual DIY that so many have talked about.

Pretty much how it is, is if you ask and question and have a reward people will do it, if no reward etc., they say diy, is that what your trying to say!!!

I am saying that most of the time people say to search there is DIY on this or search search search, an alot of times they put this when it is not true and then me being not that bright spend hours looking for something that isn't there, or impossible to find!

I gave some points to incubus, beacuse you posted 2 of the links that I already have posted! wwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww www
that must of been though

and the rest of points go to xxsove jkdsfhsgh cause he actually gave a good answer even though there really wasn't

OOOh I see now. The DIY I linked is for 2001 and 2002 consoles.

You want someone to MAKE a diy for 2003 center console removal, because there isn't one yet.

if I had a 2003 center console I would do it and take pics, but i dont.
