electric supercharger $300
electric supercharger $300
What do you guys think about this part I saw it in hondatuningmagazine? "up to 15hp guaranteed". www.electricsupercharger.com
It's just one of these with a cone filter attached:

a fan, more commonly used in marine (water, fish tanks, boats, etc. that type of marine) setups. Go to a fish or pet store or even apool store they'll have those. Maybe hardware stores like home depot too.
A while back these popped up all over eBay for $50 and as much as $200, but the worst part was that people were BUYING them.
The thing that really attracts buyers is the $price$. Not telling you to get the most expensive parts; just saying that there's no substitute for the real thing
ie:
Don't buy spinning HUBCAPS
Don't buy fake "turbos"
Don't paint your car with house paint
Don't wash you car with dish soap
...
I can't believe they would publish an ad like that in their magazine

Yeah but you're still out the cost of a dyno run.
Plus they'll find some other way of explaining your lack of power, like "Oh it must be your restrictive exhaust. You're not supposed to run your car with a catalytic converter, in order to maximize the potential of our unique system" or some shiat like that.

Here's another electric super charger. This one acts more like nitrous. Read up and you'll see why.

They say they will give you 50 back if I remeber correct on the dyno run, or half of it up to 50. The eRam also had a screen blocking anything from being sucked into the intake if it were to break. At least on the more expensive model. I made a post like three days back. Let me search, somebody installed one.
