Cost to install kit, already painted?

Me and another member on this site might be switching kits. He is selling his car, so I am trading my stock bumpers and a little cash for his buddy club kit. How much should we expect to pay for a shop to swap out the kits?

Also, is it difficult to do it yourslf, if not, how do you go about doing it?

Thanks!!

I'd say DIY~ Installing a bodykit would be easy and there is no reason to let the shop charge you like $100-$200 labor just putting it on. By the way since you guys are trading bumpers why don't you ask him to help you on installing?

seriously, ask the guy whose trading bumpers with you to help install your kit (that is if hes a gentlemen). i suggest pick a date to meet somewhere safe/private and it should take about an hour depending how fast the guy works. if none of you guys dont know how to install/uninstall bumpers... offer a local like $50 and im pretty sure s/he will go for it.

if you go to a shop, their gonna overcharge you like $100+ ... and plus the tools you basically need are wrenches in different sizes. im pretty sure you have these tools just laying around your own home.

goodluck
