A/C question.

today in cali., its a fawken hot day. no kidding. its like 100 + degrees.
while driving down the road with the windows up and the A/C blasted.
i realized, my A/C is cold but not REALLY COLD.
thus leading to the question:
can i make my A/C any colder????

does anybody know how to make it colder?????
i want it so cold, it'll make my boogers freeze like in "Dumb and Dumber"

you have an 03...i don't think you really need to fill your car with freon

freon: nonflammable gaseous or liquid fluorinated hydrocarbons employed primarily as working fluids in refrigeration and air conditioning and as aerosol propellants.

in other words it what makes your car Ac air cold....

you only need to fill up your car with freon if your low

or if your Ac whoes are leaking air....

with R134a you cant. The generally accepted temperature change from ambient is 20 below actual outside temp. So if its 100F out, then it will be 80F. With an R12 system is a different story however, but since R12 is no longer in use, and you cant retrofit an r132a to R12, your SOL.

The fluid doesnt evaporate either. If a shop says you need a recharge, ask them to check for a leak. It doesnt majically disappear, it has to go somewhere.
