header question

my friend is getting a new car, so hes gonna sell me his header, question is what all else do i need before i can get the header installed on my stock ex.

Would be nice to know what header you are getting. For all we know your friend has a Mustang and then you would need A LOT of work to get it on.

If he has the same car...and ex...then you will have to know how to take off bolts, put on the header, and tighten bolts.....it's a difficult job.....damn bolts...i wish I knew how to take off bolts.

If you want, you can get new gaskets. A doughnut and an exhaust gasket. I changed mine out when I got my header. Your choice though.

i heard to take off bolts you have to take it to a ricer shop and pay them 300 bucks a hour to take them off

**** man, and they take like 2 hours too!!!

anyways, on a mroe serious note, it is not necessary that you change out your header gasket....but I highly recommend it because this mother ****ers got a leak!
