car jacks?

what kind of car jacks do some of you use? whats a good one? a low jack with a small plate?

3 ton car jack. what point are you guys jacking ur cars up at? i dont use the sides where the manual says to. i jack it on the frame. if u look under the front bumper about a foot back theres a 2 x 3 inch rectangle wiht a hole inthe center. thats my jack point. is that ok?

That is THE jack point. Thats what the flat is there for. There's even an arrow on the splash guard directing you to it.

Anyways, I've got a Craftsman jack and stands. It was something like $50 for the 2 1/4 ton jack and 2 stands... no problems to speak of.

I need to find a low profile hydraulic jack. Mine is to tall and I always have to jack up the car with the stock jack before I can slide the hydraulic one in there to finish the job.

Anyone know where to find one?

I lift my car and stick my jack under and it works(you know pull up on the front)....its hard

Sometimes when im smart ill drive up on some pieces of wood, then put the jack under
