I have a short ram intake in my civic now. the rason i got this one is that i heard the short ram gives more low to mid range power and an cold air one only gives high end poer on a civic. does anyone know if this is true or not. I got a AEM intake.

I don't think that is true. I have SRI and I don't feel any low-mid range power at all. I think they both work the same. If you want low-mid range power then it is best to stick with your stock air box.
