HP Header Install Problem

I know alot of you have the HP Raing Header installed. I've read the post and looked at the DIY. I know there is a big problem with the fit. Some people have to shave or cut the motor mount. Has anyone had a problem with it touching the frame? I had it installed just this week and now my car is shaking. I think it might be b/c it's hitting the frame, but I'm not sure. Please help!

You only need to shave the motor mount if you have an EX Manual. And it's only a sliver that needs to be shaved. Not a big deal.

Thanks to all who helped! I finally figured out my problem. The header is hitting the front A frame which is causing the whole car to shake. I had an accident a while back which apparently bent the frame enough to cause the header to touch it. Hopefully I can get the frame bent back just a 1/4 in. That would give me enough space. Will have to wait and see.

Well here's the scoop. Turns out my frame is teaked. They want to charge me $287 to fix it. This means the header is coming off and the factor header is going back in. If anyone is interested in the HP Header with downpipe, let me know. It's only been on the car for 2 weeks, less tan 250 miles. I'll even throw in the O2 sim since I don't need it any more.

You want to bend your car back man. Just go back to the insurance company and get it bent back cause they probally didn't do something right. If you don't do it your tires can wear down alot faster. I recommend geting it fixed right away.

I found out that my vic was in an accident before I bought it as well. The poor thing has had no luck. The damage that occured during my accident was mostly to the rear passenger wheel. Bent the trailign arm and the rim to hell. I did hit the front too, but all the damage was to the lower front passenger bumper, cosmetic. The insurance company will not pay for it, but it is worth a shot!
