MTEC 2X VS. PIAA Super White

Hey guys,
How does the MTEC color compare to the Super Whites by PIAA? Just kind of sick of the PIAA, looking for something cheap, but somewhat reliable. Thanks.

personally I would stick to the stock lights. I know some people who have purchased the PIAAs and they burnt out pretty quick. Not sure about M-TEC though, but to stay on the safe side I would stick with stock lights.

Yeah, I have the PIAA super whites right now. True, you can't see anything during rain, but dry weather is very nice with them. I am just looking for a change, ya know? I had my first pair of PIAA's for 11 months, then one burnt out, so I got a new pair for free (1 yr. warranty) and I am just kinda sick of the second pair (time for something new)

Thanks, PJG

Someone here uses Luc's hyperwhite. Says it's very white and has lasted over a year so far. I've had sylvania cool blues for a long time--they are a bit whiter than stock.

Stock bulbs are actually the brightest in terms of light output. Color temp in the 4200-4600K range is white light, but to get that color, some light is filtered out.

I had my piaa for close to 2 years before one burnt out, lol (have the other sitting around somewhere). Then I switched to the Blue Star I bought before PIAA, they're pretty nice, not too bad for its price.
