Back in the mid 90's I put one of those in my 1990 Civic Si HB. It was the first mod I ever bought...back when SRI was a peice of PVC with a filter stuck on the end...I don't know if that'll work in a SRI or CAI.
Either way, it made a little bit of a difference but nothing to write home about.

I think most people who say it doesn't work haven't actually used it themselves. Just try it out for yourself and let us know how it works. Not saying Jodster doesn't know what he's talking about but I notice many people on this site give advice from what others have said and not from their own experience.

LOL the tornado air fuel management system.
I loved watching those infomercials on this. they put one in a charger and it 'added 50 horsepower/45 torque' while saving 10% of gas usage per tank.
I bet if you combine the tornado with a Helix power tower (see Helix thread), you'll end up with so much more hp!!
And don't forget to add an eBay electric turbo too! UNLIMITED HORSEPOWER YO!!!

This thing is such snake oil. The damn thing just restricts airflow - doesn't improve anything. *BoY*CaR* *GiRL*DRivER*

i asked a mechanic about it and he says it works. i guess it depends on what type of vehicle. some stuff works better on some vehicles than it does on others. i've been wanting to try it. but i think i want to get more important stuff first.
