An CAI question...

I don't mean to sound presumptuous (what can I say? I'm new, so I don't know a whole lot)... bit as far as cold air intakes on our 7th Gen civics go... What draws more air - a regular cold air intake, or one that "dips" down into the engine bay? I've been looking around for a few days and I was hoping someone had some knowledge or opinion first hand on the matter.

Thanx!

There are 2 kinds of intake: Short Ram Intake (sri) and Cold Air Intake(cai). They both pull in the same amount of air, its just that the cai pulls in alot cooler air because it is pulling air from under the engine bay not the hot air that is circualting in the engine bay...

Yes it's better. Cold is more dense... more O2/given volume, more burning power=more go power.
