Sun Visor - super clean
just wanted to post up my new gadget. I got this sun visor from Yulian, (YS)
and wanted to say that not only does it work great, but I actually have
even gotten compliments about it.
The other day I went to the beach with my cousin
and a girl in a jetta was like, "what kinda car is that" "did that come with it" (asking
about the visor) "wow, where'd you get it?" then when I told her that a friend of mine
was selling them exclusively she gave me her # and asked me to call her! How cool is
that? Thanks again Yulian,
BTW I need another one now if you know what I mean...
imp:
Hey also my dad's been asking me where I got mine and he wants one too.
And the other day my friend also asked me about it so I may want a few.
I'm PM you with the exact number and sizes since you said they come in several
custom sizes.
Oh, and for all you curious ppl, here's some pics.

BTW-
just FYI the sun visor opens and closes like a theatre curtain. when it's
not in use it hides on the edges of the A-pillars and when you park
all you do is grab the tabs on each side and bring them together in the
center where they fasten up to each other. They have a guide on the top
made from thin, strong fishing line and the tabs stick firmly to the window
edges with 3M tape. The whold thing took about 5 min to put on.
thanks again Yulian, I'm putting one in each car

hmmm... thats nice... but you left out one important point... how much?
also, i wanna see pics of where it supposedly "hides" on the a-pillar when not in use... and would the visor work with a-pillar gauges?

answer to Q's
RyzRocket02:
I'll take that pointless comment as just that, pointless...
coming from some one with nothing done to their car...
pheaton:
PM Yulian, YS and he'll totally hook you up.
He sells them to several others, but to fellow vic owners he'll
hook it up.
CivicHX01:
see above...PM YS. As for the hiding away in the side A-pillars, well obviously it doesn't go into the pillar but it basically is completely out of the way. Yulian has a pic of the shade half opened so just picture a curtain being pulled open and then being clipped in place on each side. If you want l'll post up a pic when I get home.
olympicdrinker:
thanks for the compliment on the shade and eyebrows, I made them myself out of some left over vinyl from my visor. With a heat gun and a little patience I shaped them and they look cleaner than aftermarket eyebrow that you 3M tape on. If I get bored of them I just rip them off and I can put on a different pair with a different shape.
75shot:
shade huh? well, shade is not everywhere I park. Have you found shade at the beach, stadium parking, public street parking in LA, Long Beach and Veags. How about about when you do park in the shade...and have to deal with tree sap, flower stains and bird sh*t.
My sun shade is the perfect alternative...besides you must have missed the whole added bounus of how it got me a girl's number...but its cool, to each his own

fraga- yeah, cuz that's how it reflects the heat.
sepudo- it got you a girls number so she could buy one off of you. try calling her for any other reason with that number and she'll probably shut you down before you even try.

what if you make a sharp turn, and one of the sides slide towards the center. is there like a lock or anything to keep it in place while you're driving? cuz that could be real dangerous.

fraga:
the shade is 100% heat reflectant so its "shiny" on both sides. Personally I
think it looks better that way but you may differ
Also, I had bought a nice thick Kul-shade visor at Costco and the sun shade I have now
not only looks cleaner, and is quicker to put up but also it keeps the car cooler.
75:
As in any opportunity, all that is needed is to get your foot in the door.
Maybe your own tactics are different for the type of girls you are interested in
but for me, the sun shade was all I needed to get the conversatioin going.
And please note, she noticed my car before the sunshade...
