He was all "yeah I got it to work but I'm not going to tell you how I did it." There was some big thread on it but I can't find it. Then he posted a dyno that showed like a 20-30 hp spike when vtec engaged, but there was really no net gain or anything.

Then people were all like "dude be cool and tell us how you wired it." And he's all like "it's my secret you have to pay me " or something like that. lease:

I just checked Apexi's website and their update for the VAFC on 01+ civics is dated 3/28/03.

So, just wondering what's new with it, or something.

uhh....multiple people have gotten the VAFC to work in 01+ civics buddy.

I heard there were still problems like engine check lights, etc.

And no one was seeing gains from them. At least that's what I thought was the case.

So if that's not the case, then why does everyone say the VAFC doesn't work for our cars.

Maybe I have my info mixed up, buddy

people were seeing gains its just the VAFC wasnt meant for d17s so thats why theyre releasing the VAFC2 which works for k20s and d17s.

Then what was the main problem with the VAFC for our cars?

How will VAFC 2 differ in performance from 1?

And those that have it, I guess since it works now, what kind of gains did you get?
