55 watt and no higher in TYC (they will still be bright)
I have MTECs and they are nice
PIAA on the way (extreme white and plasma blue).
I also replace the small (#914 I believe) bulb with the PIAA and it looks very sweet.
Make sure you don't touch the bulb. Keep it clean. The oil will heat up and blow the bulb. The main reason the bulbs don't last

Do either M-Tech or Street Glow. The street glows aren't as blue as some of the bulbs I've seen, but they don't use as much energy.
H1 bulbs burn out wayy easier than other types. I finally gave in and bought an HID kit, it's SOOOOOO blue, I love it. But that was $365 in a GB
I had those 2 I mentioned above and was very happy with them. But I suggest having a spair pair of 'yellow-bulbs' in the car with you. I had a pair of bulbs burn out on me within 10 minutes of each other while I was driving on the interstate at 12:30 AM. AND they were only 2 days old. I was lucky enough to find a 24-hr Wal-Mart and get them replaced.
Anyways, just some advice

If you have trouble with big hands and changing the bulbs. A magnet on a telescoping rod works well to position them without touching the bulb, also use rubber gloves. I haven't burnt out a bulb yet.

has any1 tried both piaa hyper whites as well as the mtec super white's? I wanna know if there really is a difference. Also, any1 have the h1 spark blue 7500k piaa's? I'm thinking about buying them but its like 80$, im not sure if piaa's are really worth it. Any opinions?

My MTECs are in my car and I should have the PIAA extreme whites in a few days. Then I can let you know. My PIAA plasma blues are back ordered. Have to wait on their verdict
Why would you drop $100 on a set of PIIA's when you can get a full HID setup for like $300?
I mean it's a lot more to spend, but it's a better investment in the long run. Especially if you have the projectors and use H1 bulbs. They're the worst bulb ever for blowing out ...

I had eurolite bulbs in my projectors and I liked how they looked. Nice bright white color with a small blue tint. I got them because they were very low wattage. Too bad they only lasted 3 months. So now I'm back to the regular bulbs. Get some cheap bulbs if you have projectors...you'll be kicking yourself in the *** after they blow in a month if you fork out 80 bucks on some piaas
I herd that H1 HID kits dont "perfectly" fit into the Halo projectors. You have to like sand down a part in order for it to fit or something like that? Im not too sure, but I remember reading someone ordering H1 hid for their halo's and it didnt fit. Any1 got h1's hid on their halo projectors? Or herd about this problem as well?
