Kenwood DMX5020DABS - SWC "original issue"
Kenwood DMX5020DABS - SWC "original issue"
Dear All,
i have googled up, "youtubed up" for a similar issue and was not able to find an answer or even a similar question to mine, therefore here it goes:
I have bought Kenwood DMX5020DABS with additional wiring equipments (2connects connector/adapter + all necessary cables) from a supplier which specializes in car audio
after installation - all works fine, radio, usb, android auto etc etc except steering wheel control
when using these specializing connector - buttons like vol+/- and forward/backwards shall be automatically detected - unfortunately they do not work
all connections were re-checked by another person - all was fine, no issue found
ps. steering wheel buttons works for sure because when you install aftermarket radio you need to use "vol, ch and mode" buttons to set up an upper clock to avoid blinking
seller suggested to connect it in traditional way by merging three wires, so i did this way
and now the most interesting part:
now it is possible to start learning process, what's more, system says that button assignment is a success
but after I exit learning menu - it does not work again
i have tried to learn only one of them, i have exit this menu i all possible ways, restarting car, restarting panel in a different way - no way to trigger this
any ideas?
