USA Spec BT45-HON3 Bluetooth Question [solved]
Hi everyone,
has anyone installed the USA Spec BT45-HON3 in their car before? I have a U.S. 2009 Honda Civic LX with CD and AUX but no XM and no navigation. In the instructions, it says to
, but my car does not come with the 14-pin factory cable. Because of this, I tried it without the 14-pin factory cable just to see if the BT45-HON3 works, but it did not so I am certain it is because of the missing connector. Has anyone able to get it to work with their vehicle? The compatible vehicles it shows includes the 8th gen civic, so I am not quite sure what to do. Their customer support does not respond at all.

I have one in my 07 Pilot. I installed mine into the radio but it had a 14pin connector on it. I believe that’s standard for all Honda’s as it’s “universal” hits has wires missing if options are not there.
