MICU replacement question
MICU replacement question
I have no low beams and after a ew things I have checked it seems that without a light relay to check, the MICU may need to be replaced.
According to the manual the key needs to be registered etc....can only the dealer do this ?
so far checked 3 fuses , changed the light/turn signal switch and I am in the process of checking for corroded wires and the bulbs themselves. Since both went out on the same morning I am thinking the MICU and fuse box.
When I turn the park lights on I hear a click then but no second click for the low beams.
DRL work and high beams as well. All parking lights too.
Thanks,

Re: MICU replacement question
06 ??
Yes, you should hear a click x 2.
Fuse #21 20A & #17 & #16 10A (all under-dash)
The combination switch grounds inputs to MICU control,
Pin 11, GRY wire at combo switch should be at ground with low beams on.

Re: MICU replacement question
sorry- 07 coupe EX with Auto, no navigation.
would you know if I have to have the dealer do the MICU swap ? they have to register the keys with the new MICU according to the service manual.
and thanks for you response.

Re: MICU replacement question
Fuse #21 should have constant voltage at both ends, then the relay contacts leading to others fuses and low beams.
