can anyone give me informaation on how to access the fan, on the lower speeds it makes a loud rattle, not shure were it sits but found the filter low down on the right hand side of passenger side. thankyou.

Over here, the blower fan is on the passengers side (right side), you would get close to the floor in the footwell and look up under the dash......and there may be a plastic cover to lower or remove before you can see the motor.

You would be looking for the roundish thing held in with 3 screws, similar to this:


(Not a Civic, but the appearance of the fan assembly should be similar to this when viewed from underneath.. Most Hondas over many years and models are very similar.)

thankyou for the info, I did watch this video on youtube but as it was for an earlier modal I never looked to see if mine was the same, will look now and let you know my findings.
