on my 03 Civic Ex 4dr Auto im having a problem with random increases in RPM. When i first cold startin the day, the rpm's simply rush above 1000rpm and if i let it stay idle for a few more minutes i can see rpms going up as high as 2800rpms. If i am running my A/c the rpms do come down. The engine makes that grrrrrrrr. noise too. After a few minutes of running if i try changing from Park into D by pressing hard on brakes it will not let me do that. I have to shut down the car, pump the brakes up before starting then the car starts & you can see the rpms rushing up to 2k-2.5k.
Few days ago, i first time put on cruise control on my car & ever since this problem has showed up.

After reading forums, vaccum leak is a possibility. The CEL is on & has theb p1505 code for vaccum leaks.
Anything else i should look for?

Yesterday while i was driving my car a wire off the transmission housing fell loose & came off. I was unable to shift into any gear whatsoever?
Is it the shift solenoid that came loose? it has 4 prongs & long wire that came off?

Any help please

This is a pic of wire falling off from Transmission Housing or something coming loose of an exhaust. i cant tell.
It locked up my shifting (transmission) and when pressing on brakes & trying to move shifter, it wont work.
Please someone tell me what to ask for at HondaAutomotiveParts or what is this part called. I need to order it from a local dealrship i guess unless autozone / Oreily has it.
