No audio from speakers after battery change 2007 EX
No audio from speakers after battery change 2007 EX
Hi, I recently changed the battery in my 2007 Civic EX w/o Nav. I input the radio code and got the radio to for example change FM stations or play a CD, the only problem is no audio comes out of the speakers now. I am wondering if anyone out there has had a similiar issue and has a fix for it? There is no separate amplifier and I would imagine that the radio would just not work if the radio's fuse had blown. I even pulled the rear speakers from the circuit and plugged them in one at a time to check for a short in those. Other than the battery being changed nothing else was touched. Thanks in advance for the help.

Use a DMM (digital multimeter)
With stereo on,
Unplug your rear deck speakers (easiest access)
And check if any electricity is reaching the speakers by tapping DMM into the speaker harness

any kind of voltage, you're basically looking for any read
If there is no electricity going though, then something's wrong with the wiring
If there is electricity going through, then something's wrong with your speakers
