Bad synchro?
I have a 2006 civic Si and it locks me out of 1st gear most of the time I drive it and 3 gear has poped out a few times my mechanic said it’s bad synchros but I’m not convinced

Re: Bad synchro?
Check the engine/transmission/torque mounts first.
also check the shifter linkage bushings.

If those are good then it is probably the synchros.
