Moonroof seal replacement?

Moonroof seal replacement?
Just curious if anyone knew if you could replace the rubber seal on the moonroof without replacing the whole glass. Dealer showed me their parts pic and it shows it as one whole piece, but I have seen on other Honda forums where just the seal was replaced on Accords, etc. Seems ridiculous that a $30 gasket/seal has to be replaced by replacing a $700 piece of glass per the dealer....Mine isn't leaking, but would look a lot better new. Just faded/cracked etc. Mine is an 08 Coupe.

Gotta replace the glass to get it through Honda.
You can get it cheaper online through a dealer that sells at wholesale prices, but that's still gonna be a good 500. (467 plus shipping)

Wow...I can't believe that they make that irreplaceable on that. Seems a little crazy to spend that much for a new rubber seal. Bummer. Guess that will have to just become a bigger issue. I got your PM. Think I resolved that. Thanks!
