Hello,

I recently had a minor collision and while there was no damage, the front bumper on my Civic came loose on the right side.

I can see the holes along the edge where the notches should fit in, but before I attempted to re-attach it, wondered if there were any special tools, or methods involved in snapping it back into place?

You wont need any special tools as long as everything appears to snap back into place.

Hey Deacon68. I have had my bumper come loose many times. The small, thin attaching tab that the Honda genius engineers designed break easily. YOur may be broken too. After that they pop out often. Mine falls off if I touch a parking curb!! Sometimes we can kick it back in.. but it is not secure. I have finally taken mine off completely and glued steel washers on top of the plastic tabs with 5 minute epoxy. This time when I re-attach it it will not fall off in a strong wind.
