Exclamation Help! My 06 Ex tire problem

Hi everone. My tires are wearing out faster on the inside than the outside. Honda told me it needs a "control arm". Is there any way to fix this without replacing the control arm?

You could need an alignment if your tires are wearing uneven.

Re: Help! My 06 Ex tire problem

They all can do it, and many tire designs are prone to chopping the inner edges.
Ignoring regular tire rotation schedule can lead to choppy tires.

The cars without the updated arms can chop some tires extremely fast.

There are upper control arms available from Honda to straighten up the excessive negative camber, and the car needs aligned when these are installed.

See TSB 08-001 (here) http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...5Q0GjGbtDxjvsQ

The part number listed in this bulletin is the only way to get the new arms, and the part number is for a PAIR.
If one uses a parts catalog to look up the arms, the original unmodified arms will be had.

I have modified the original arms with good success too, long before these updated arms were released.

Aftermarket has adjustable upper arms, but I have no idea what kind of quality they have.
