where is everyone getting the idea that it wont? just cuz of that small rear lip on the 04 bumpers? there the same dimensions for all years....the rear bumper hasnt gotten wider or taller. its the same except for the small rear lip.

but i got this thing pending again to a local.
I just did a search in this forum...as well as honda-tech, everyone says the rear bumper need to be swapped from 01-03 to 04 -05 in order to make the Aero rear lip fit. I m interest to get this lip, but i need to make sure it fits, shipping isnt cheap for this thing.

Any input on the fitment? I have a 2001 civic Lx coupe if it matters.
thanks

As long as you have a hanging point on thhe rear bumper basically a hole sticking out on the underside of the bumper you just put the sliders in and should fit fine.

[QUOTE=mr_fobster;4313636]here are the pics.......

the only difference in the bumpers is that lower lip area....thats all......i assure you that this will fit since the body shape for the different years are not that different. i can post pics of it mounted onto my bumper if you guys want......the rear bumper did not get wider or narrower during the different years so i do no see why the will not fit my year.....

oh yea sorry i did not dust off the lip so its kinda dirty[/QUO
as i see on the pic i like it and you say $200 if with shpping will get it. it's black right
