Well Im working on my new project car and I had a spare d17a2 put away to build but never got to it so I think I'll just change the timming belt on my em2 with 128k miles and let it ride. Motor has 10k when pulled a local swapped a k20a2 in their em2 and I bought the motor. I have the PS pump, condensor, alternator everything. Looking to get about 850obo for the whole motor or if there is enough interest on various parts I will part it out. I will be making a list of members and the parts they would like and if enough parts are requested those members will be able to purchase the parts they claimed first. PM me offers on parts.

im thinking of doing a ex head swap to my 05 lx, but im trying to work out all costs at the moment.

Well DUDE thats why it says OBO. If someone wants to make an offer then they are more that welcome. Im not trying to be an ***, but 850 is a little high, considering I just picked up an a1 in the same form youre selling yours for $200. You should drop the price and you will probably get more interest. You can get a k20 for 250 more, so why would someone consider getting another d17 for almost the same price?

respect my elders? dude ive built more hondas than youd know what to do with. ive got over 20 motors laying around and i know what motors go for. i never said i wasnt intersted. if you werent tryin to rip people i mightve bought it. i hate douchebags on the internet thinkin theyre gonna get rich buy rippin someone who doesnt know any better.

Im glad that you think you know who I am and what I do but I work on honda's everyday. it what I do for a living actually so before your so quick to judge think first. The only reason I posted my motor up was because I saw someone selling theirs for the same amount and there was a good amount of interest for that amount. why not get top dollar for something your selling? I am not here to rip anyone off and I have sold plenty of items on here in the past years. thats why this is a OBO. I would much rather part the motor rather than pay for the shipping cost. I also don't see any other motors on here with 10k miles. I never expected to get 850.00 for it but work my way down the price with someone to a common ground. This thread is now crapped up thanks to you. I plan on starting a new one and would appreciate you keeping your ignorance out of it.
