I just have the rsx 19mm sway bar in the rear and ex sway bar in the front. will these endlinks increase performance or are they only for people who have broken theirs? If they do increase performance, would it be worthwhile to replace the front endlinks even though the bar is still stock up front?

They don't increase performance in any way. They're simpyl adjustable for people with suspension clearance issues and they're a lot stronger than stock. If you have broken yours or if you think you're going to break yours, then they're worthwhile to get. Considering the fact that several people have broken their stock endlinks with upgraded sway bars, then you should consider these endlinks if you plan on upgrading or have already upgraded your sway bars.

Don't worry, you'll get them soon. I'm awaiting a package from McMaster.com with some more parts. I want to modify the design slightly. After I'm done I'll test it out again and that should be that. I'll ship out the kits that some of you have already payed for and I'll get to work on making the thread with all of the ordering information in it. Stay tuned...

Hi Grey,

I am installing my RSX-S sway bar this week. I'd also like a set of the endlinks when you finalize the design.

PM me when you are ready.

Same here! Let me know when they're ready. I stripped out a allen head on one of my end links. Any ideas on how to get the bolt off with that stripped. Peice of **** things. Anyway, let me know when they are ready and if you ship priority mail.

Allright, will do. Yeah, the stock endlinks are finicky to take off and put back on if you don't use metric allen wrenches. If you have enough thread left on the endlink, then you could screw on two jam nuts and tighten them against each other. Then try unscrewing the stock nut. Although you couldn't unscrew the stock nut all the way with the two jam nuts on there. You could at least loosen it though.

Hmm... Some vise grips might help you to hold it in place while you loosen it. Then once the stock nut gets close to the vise grips you could move them to be behind the nut. That might work. You need to loosen the stock nut first though. The two jam nuts should help you do that. Good luck, I hope that procedure works for you!

As for the Priority mail. Yes, that is what I'm planning to use. USPS Priority mail for shipping.

K man, thanks for all the help. That kind of thing makes me want to buy from you, even though I might not need them. Let me know when you plan to start shipping, because I ordered a stock link from Honda for $39, but if I can get the better ones from you I might just spend the extra money and do the upgrade.

Grey,

in your progress rear sway DIY you mention that you upgraded your rear sway bushing bolts to grade 8, did you get your grade 8 bolts from McMaster.com? Do you remember their dimensions?

thx.

No, I got them from a local Lowe's. I don't remember their dimentions, sorry. Are you talking about the ones for Progress's mounting kit, or the ones for the sway bar bushings? Well, either way... I don't remember. The only thing I know is that the ones for the mounting kit are 3/8" and 16 threads per inch.

hm...a stock end link from Honda costs $15+tax...I just bought mine yesterday from a local dealer. I would have bought Grey's custom ones, but he doesn't have them ready yet and I am in need of them at the moment, so i just went ahead and bought the OEM ones. Also nothing good will come from rushing the product, either its parts, games, etc. So Grey, keep testing your custom endlinks and release it when its truely ready. I think its better for ppl to wait than doing recalls on them later or worst yet have ppl complaining all day from a defective product. That's another reason I just went ahead to get the OEM ones since I don't want to rush you. Anyways, Grey's stuff are defintitely great and I will definitely get a set of his custom ones when I need to change the end links again.

I just installed my RSX-S sway bar today. Nice improvement. Stock end links. I agree that it is best to wait for Grey to bullet-proof his design first.
It's just an endlink, and I can wait. Ordered my X-brace today

Well, I'm still waiting on the hardware that I ordered. I thought that it would get here today, but it hasn't. I think it'll get here tomorrow. Then I'll install it and test it out. I don't expect any problems, so I'm pretty sure that I'll have the final design ready to ship by the end of the week.

The new design basically moves the pivot points out a little to ensure clearance and has a new felt washer. The felt washer can be soaked with oil to provide lubrication for the bearing. Although the bearing technically requires no lubrication, it's not a bad idea to have some anyway.

Well... I got all of the parts. The endlinks look good. I didn't get a chance to install them and test them out yet. I have my last exam tomorrow, so I'll install them after the exam. I'll have new pics up and everything. Stay tuned...

I just called. Makes me feel better! They want FIFTY ($50) bucks and they don't stock it. You have to drive down there and order it. For me that's an AWFUL LONG drive.

Makes Grey's Kit much more worth it. $100 bucks for stock links for $85 for CUSTOM MADE links. Let me think about that one.

Sorry guys, I can't install the endlinks today. I can't find my lug nut key. I have Gorilla lug nuts and they require a special tool to take off. I can't find that tool. I took it with me to the Mid-Atlantic meet and I can't seem to find it. I PM'de a bunch of people asking them if maybe they have it. If they don't, then I guess I'll have to buy one. I hope that I can find it for sale somewhere.

Here's what they look like... This should be the final design.
