Battery Question
Are the Odyssey batteries worth the extra cost. At $200 plus shipping, they aren't exactly cheap.
Also, has anyone installed one in an EG and if so, were there fitment issues since it has to be laid on its back?

Mine died after about 30 min of low volume stereo use while I was fixing a speaker connection this morning. Got it charged enough to start the car and get to work, but don't want to get stranded somewhere so need to replace it soon. It's over 4 years old (exact age not known)
(FYI, I run two Alpine digital amps - PDX series)

Re: Battery Question
I'm 66 and have been buying batteries since I was 18. Walmart batteries work just as long (if not longer) than anyone's. I has an 89 Toyota that went 7 years on one. Heat gets batteries and you are in a hot place. Once it has a good charge, take it to autozone for a free cold crank amp reserve on their machine. Will tell you the life left. Must be full charged and TAKEN OUT to to do that. So a little work on your part.
