Okay, so when I have my stereo on and it's not playing I can hear some engine (alternator and spark plug) noise. How have you people resolved that? I know that I can put an electronic RF filter on my power line and that should help (darned gas engines, diesels never have this problem, lol). I also hear a clicking sound when I press on my brakes since my brake lights turn on and the circuit must create some sort of arc that is interfering as well. Any tips on how to get rid of that? And lastly. I notice that sometimes my rear deck and trunk vibrate terribly with the music. Other than Dynamat which I've only read about, is there anything else I can do to dampen those weird vibrations? Thanks!

Re: 2 Issues

If you are hearing sounds from your alternator its probably a bad ground somewhere. Are u using OEM grounds or something else?
As for the clicking sound are u sure ur parking lock isnt being engaged somehow when you hit the brakes out of park?

Re: 2 Issues

Do you mean bad ground of my system? I'll check into that since they are spots that I made to ground too. As far as your second question, how could I verify that? I don't think it's doing that . . .

Re: 2 Issues

run new power and ground wires (14 gauge) directly to the battery from the radio. use a 15 amp fuse on the power wire ofcourse.
