Ahh okay! I picked up the last 4 VPowers from Pep boys today along with a K&N cleaning kit "I know you despise them" :P

i'm thinkin its gotta be fused related and that somewhere along the stock wiring, something either burned up, or got frayed, or possibly both. i read all 3 pages of this post so far, and one would assume it would be a ground, but its not.
get a fuse tester and go thru and test every fuse in the car, under the hood, and under the steering wheel compartment. if it comes up negative, i have no clue man...by the time u go thru all this stuff, u would have had enuff to save for another car! lol
good luck though.

Could a fuse receive damage without blowing? I have pulled about 20 fuses for physical enspection but have not actually testedthem.

i dont think so but i guess its possible. ive had fuses melt to the point where the wire inside was fine but physically the fuse did not sit properly in the holder and make contact.

UPDATE: The cause of the problem was I didn't slow charge the cap, I didn't put the resistor in. We now know why I have the problem, we only need to find the problem!
