Unhappy handbrake issues

hi there,im having real probs with my fathers civic 1.5 aerodeck,earlier in month put it in for mot,it failled on brake pipes,front brake discs,and few other things,put new pipes on it,new discs on front,and 2 new calipers on rear,new pads all round,put it back in,it failed again,on uneven handbrake,holding on one side but not good on other,tried taking it off again and putting pistons in to level off but still not right,anybody help before i have no hair left!

did you check the adjuster cables where the hand brake is? usually it lets you adjust the tension on each side.

hi,you can only adjust both at same time,its central if you no what i mean,no way of adjusting just the one side,could it be brakes needing bled again?would that cause that to happen,its a 1998 civic aerodeck,1.5 vtec e,gratefull for any advice!

you might try bleeding again, or adjusting the cables separately for each rear brake setup. im unfortunately not too familiar how the hand brake works with rear disc brakes.

im going to have another go tomorrow at bleeding them and see what happens,thanks for the help.
