Re: rear disk conversion

all 01-05 civic will need just the rear disc from an 02-04 civic si hatchback (4 lug). everything swaps on over.

Not sure about the older civics.

You won't feel much stopping power just by doing a rear disc conversion, it's very minimal that you'll feel it. If you do feel something, then it's all in your head.

this is what you need below:

You need the stuff (parts shown in above post) from a 99-00 SI-R from Canada, or a 99-00 SI from the US.

Re: rear disk conversion

That was very helpful ive been wanting to do this as well. I know it wont have alot more stopping power, but its another cool upgrade to say that i've done. Plus it looks cool. Especially if you upgrade to slotted rotors.

Re: rear disk conversion

for 96-00 model civics late model teg GSR brakes with the trailing arm will bolt right up you just need a brake line. you can also use 99-00 SiR brakes from a stock honda civic SiR and they will fit directly as well you can order them from honda I believe. I just went with my buddy to the wreakers and picked up a set of GSR brakes. they went on easy enough took about a day. we put them on his civic, were doing the same to mine soon ill take pictures.

Re: rear disk conversion

do you one better. There is a guy on eBay, eagleperformance or some **** like that. Anyways he sells these small adapters that allow you to mount the integra rear discs onto the EX(canadian si) rear control arms. We did it on a friends eg hatch and it worked pefectly. Saves you lots of time and money in having to find control arms for your car. All you need to get are the discs calipers and parking brake lines.
