How much is stock brake pads?

My brakes are slipping really bad, and looks like it's time for me to change front brake pads.

I'm wondering how much it will cost to get the stock pads replaced at a Honda dealership.

Would it be cheaper to get Hawk HPS and install it at other shops?

I will probably do the install it myself.

I'm still wondering how much the stock brake pads are...

The Hawk HPS is $55 for the front set.
So I'll probably end up with HPS, but if stock is considerably cheaper...
Then I might just get the stock one...

So does anyone have any idea on the stock brake pads price?

This might also help you when your doing it yourself..
When your doing it yourself, you'll have to push the piston back in, a clamp works good if u cant push it in with your palm.

Oh, damn...

Thanks Triz for the price and the schematics.

I guess I'm going with Hawk HPS then.

you wont be upset with Hawk pads! i promise the few extra $$ will be worth it. with the size of the stock rotors, any extra will help your braking. the hawks are a big step up from oe. i have had stock, ebc, and now hawk. the hawks are definately my favorite. i really cant think of a time they have faded significantly on the road

Or look into our new pads, which are a cut above the HPS.
