I bought it brand new back in 03. A couple of weeks ago my son was driving it and some guy in an Elantra ran a red light and damaged it. The engine is intact.

Wouldn't this be considered a salvage title? If so, you're SOL. If it's still drive-able, I would wait to see what Biden does with Cash for Clunkers 2.0. You could trade it in for an EV and get several thousand for it. But, who knows what the requirements will look like.
