2002 Civic Ex pass door lock

This may sound stupid. Is it possible to add a door lock switch to the front passenger door on the handle like the drivers door. how would i do it? i know i have to cut the spot and get a switch an wiring. Can i run the switch off the other lock switch?

I always wanted to do this on my 05, getting a factory switch mounted in a plate not made for it would be tough. I planned on putting a switch in the panel at the side end of the dash instead of running the wires in the door. Certainly would be possible.
