Civic 2002 Vision Timing belt or chain?

Hi All,

We wanna buy a Civic 2002 VISION, 1.4L, with 99000miles.
What does this car have,timing belt or chain?
I have tried to find answers, but i found only confusing answers, maybe u guys can help.
I am in the UK, not the States.

I may be completely wrong....but, to me it looks like a version of our (US) Si. so i would say a belt.

The L13A has a timing chain. I'm assuming that's the engine your car has.
